Seo Technology Helps To Find Your Niche Market Monday, Oct 20 2008

The only thing more fun than using search engine optimization technologies is the preliminary search for your niche market.

Though you’ll probably depending on your business never stop looking for new niche markets to tap into search engine optimization is all about tapping into those niche markets and monetizing them generate money of giving information away and point people to the right products that there are a looking for.

When it comes to seo technologies we are in no short supply of information on this particular niche. Of all the niche is you should learn first they should be one.

When we really look at the search engines it’s like a huge spiderweb or a map, or for more simplicity let’s just say a big puzzle.

The thing about the World Wide Web is that there are billions and billions of pieces out there each piece being its own website.

Nobody can possibly go through every single website to find what they’re looking for every time they need something and this is where the search engine comes in.

For the search engine to be efficient and bring people what they’re looking for, a new website has to be built a certain way to make it easier for the search engines to serve up the right information.

Using seo technologies and help from webmasters and building websites certain way these two things become possible and everybody wins.

Memory Foam Mattresses or Latex Foam Mattress? Which One Truly Backs Up to the Hype? Tuesday, May 6 2008

In recent years, a number of new mattress technologies have come onto the market. Two of the most popular types are memory foam mattresses and latex foam mattresses. Both memory foam mattresses and latex foam mattresses seek to solve a problem that most people are familiar with, the tossing and turning that most of us experience in bed.
Most of this tossing and turning is caused by a process referred to as pressure point arousal. When we lie in bed at night, our body always rests more heavily on certain areas called pressure points. A side sleeper has pressure points located at the hip and shoulder, for example. The purpose of both memory foam and latex mattresses are to reduce these pressure points, by distributing pressure over a wide surface area.
Memory foam has the additional benefit of conforming very closely to the body, and actually “filling gaps” between the body and the mattress surface. Memory foam accomplishes this in part through the way it reacts to pressure. Metal springs and most types of foam will react to pressure by exerting equal, opposing force. Memory foam, because of its slow rebound time and open-cell structure, does not return pressure in this manner. The result is that less force is built up at pressure points, and a more consistent level of support is provided along the entire length of the body.

Latex mattresses, while they are a quality product, are exorbitantly expensive. A full mattress set with a foundation can cost as much as $3,000.00 dollars, compared to about $1,500.00 for a memory foam set. One advantage that probably belongs to latex mattresses is related to durability. Latex mattresses can last fifteen years without any compromise in performance. Memory foam, because of its greater pliability and ability to conform very closely to the body, tends to be slightly less durable, but can still last ten years with little or no degradation. In fact, some memory foam mattress brands such as Sleep Aid www.sleepaidfactory.com place up to twenty-year warranties on their mattresses. In any case, both memory foam mattresses and latex mattresses will last far longer than traditional innerspring mattresses, which have a lifespan of around five years.

One of the things that make memory foam unique, also giving it an important advantage over latex foam, is its ability to react to body heat. When pressure points bear down on a memory foam mattress, they transfer more heat, and therefore soften the foam. It is this reaction to pressure points that allows memory foam to conform so readily to different body types. For those suffering from excessive pressure point arousal, or specific sleep disorders like fibromyalgia, memory foam mattresses will be a better choice, as they relieve pressure points more effectively than do latex foam mattresses. The most expensive product is not always the best, and mattresses are one instance where thorough research, less expensive memory foam mattresses comes out on top. How Your Network Affects Your PR Ratings! Friday, Apr 18 2008

It’s been long overdue that I’ve been wanting to talk about how owning a network of web sites, drastically affects your page ranking within Google.

For some of you, you may closely watch what goes on with Page Ranking Within Google with your trusty toolbar, and some of you may not have a clue nor care enough to watch your web site popularity and stay glued to you se ranking like a hawk.

If you’ve ever considered owning a successful network of web sites, you’ll want to start paying close attention as to how your network affects your search positions.

Page Ranking is like an ocean “tide”, it comes and goes and then comes back again, feeding a never ending sea of web site owners and keeping them on the shore to watch. What you want to notice is how owning a few “title waves” coming in, will drastically kill your page ranking but increase your search engine saturation.

If you haven’t heard the term saturation before, it’s merely referred to as the amount of links within your site that gets listed by search engines. So if you have 20 pages within your web site, you should have 20 pages listed in search engines.

If you don’t have 20 pages listed, your search engine saturation is lower than it should be and you should concentrate on promoting ALL your pages, not just the main page of your site.

Personally owning a network of sites, and having worked on a network of 180 sites for one client, I’ve come to the conclusion that if you want to reach a 6/10 Google ranking, don’t merely rely on your network to get success.

Like I mention in all my articles, search engines are getting smarter and can detect and sniff out a network of web sites created to help one thing, profit.

What you want to do is like I mentioned in a previous article, promote ALL your pages in as many web sites as you can. Find all related material to what you do.

Please don’t get me wrong, owning a network is in no way harmful to have. The way a network will work successfully is by at least having one of your web sites already successful and the rest are tailing on it’s success.

Trying to start an entire network from scratch is not only ludicrous, it would take a really good chunk of someone’s budget just to make sure you would succeed in keeping up with the demand.

All too many times, I see people promote their site for a month or so, realize it’s a lot of work and start neglecting it completely. Never give up on your dream, you only have one person to blame, yourself.

Start slow, start with one site. Expand it until you are ready to move onto another on-going project. Always remember that by starting another site within your network will not only bring you more responsibilities but it will be your responsibility to make sure this new web site is successful and that the old one isn’t forgotten either.

So in conclusion:
Don’t only rely on your network to bring your page ranking up and always look for new sources to improve on promoting all your pages.

Hope this helps all of you!

Keeping It Clean Could Give You A Boost Thursday, Apr 3 2008

Keeping it clean could give you a boost.
By Mark White

Everyone is striving to be at the top of the

pile, we all want to get a better google PR and want this

to reflect in more visitors to our site. But after we have

followed all the advice about keyword placement and alt

tags is there anything else we can do?

I recently asked Tinu Abayomi-Paul the well

respected google expert from freetrafficdirectory.com

if having tidy html coding helped.

She told me that although there is no absolute proof that

it helped she had noticed that site’s with good xhtml

code often seemed to get a higher ranking .

It is my belief that when the spiders visit they prefer

a clean house.

So how do you know if your pages are up to

scratch and up to search engine standards? There are a couple

of sites that you can visit and get your pages spring cleaned

for free so it’s worth a visit.

The first site is site

valet and this is in my humble opinion the most useful

as they use an online version of html tidy , the program

was originated by Dave Raggett and now at Source

forge and it offers to tidy your pages straight off

your hard drive, did I mention the word free, yes this valuable

resource is free.

The big bonus for me is that if Tinu is correct then this

site can convert from html to xhtml, what a bonus it could

be to raise my google PR at the same time as making my code

better. The online report gives you a not to complicated

list of warnings about missing tags, attributes and offers

advice about what you could add or change for people with

non graphical browsers.

The magic is that site valet gives you your page code back

in tidy form, just copy and paste the code for a spotless

site. As well as tidy the site offers the more rigorous

but more technical page tidy so if you know exactly what

you want and are a techie then the page tidy option is for

you.

The other site is net

mechanic.com and is incredibly useful, they offer a

free limited look at your site and offer advice similar

to site valet. You can get a report for up to 5 pages of

your site free and they offer other resources for you to

try such as image optimisation programs, online link checking

and browser compatibility checks.

The cost of a years membership to sort out your site is

really good value and well worth it if you have a larger

site as the tools could save you weeks of work over a year.

If you use the full resources available to

you on both of these site then you should end up with very

clean precise code that has the engines all in a tizzy over

your level of code hygiene, they may even reward you with

a better rank.
